Toki wo Tomete #1 on Oricon Weekly Charts

Tohoshinki (TVXQ / DBSK ) have yet another #1 hit on their hands. Though they can’t be out as a group of 5 promoting their singles on various television shows, they have scored #1 on the Oricon Weekly chart (Japan) which breaks a record they themselves set previously. The single sold just over 195,000 copies.

What’s going on now is rather historical. The Korean supergroup is the only non-Japanese artists to have 8 Japanese number one songs at the top of Japan’s Oricon Charts (akin to the Billboard chart in America).

Genevieve Cleary: We’re Taking Good Care of Yunho

At the end of this month, Yunho will help pay tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson along with the band that was scheduled to perform at the London concert shows before his death.

The slim, 6’1” Yunho is 1/5th of the Korean superstar group TVXQ and is receiving high praise from Genevieve Cleary.

Fans took a screenshot of Genevieve Cleary’s facebook page where she sends out a message to the Asian fans. She writes:

UKnow Yunho and Michael Jackson’s Tribute Concert’s producer, Morris Pleasure had met each other in America.

In order to welcome the upcoming Michael Jackson’s Tribute Concert on 27th March & 28th March at Yongsan War Memorial of Korea, Uknow Yunho arrived in America on 5th March (America Time) and started the training.

UKnow Yunho, whom is playing the lead role of the Tribute Concert in Korea, has arrived in Las Vegas. Upon arriving, he immediately engaged in detailed discussions for the performance tracks order and contents with Morris Pleasure, the keyboard player of Michael Jackson’s This Is It Tribute Concert.
