December 29 marks the beginning of Junsu’s 3 concert event called ‘2012 XIA Ballad & Musical Concert’, complete with orchestral accompaniment.

The beautiful voiced singer is said to be putting the final touches on the show which will feature live performances of songs from his debut album Tarantallegra, songs from his award winning music performances,  and songs from the soundtracks of dramas he’s done and more.

Tickets for the events sold out within seconds earlier this month when over 200,000 fans reportedly flooded the INTERPARK online ticketing website trying to get tickets.

21,000 lucky people got tickets to the 3 concerts on Dec 29, Dec 30, and Dec 31. Fans with tickets are probably counting the days… hours… minutes until they can see him live at COEX Hall D.

Despite the ridiculous media blackballing JYJ has had to endure, JYJ has carved out a their space and each individual member has a list of their own accomplishments.

For Junsu, his accomplishments include breaking ticket sales records with his appearances in the musicals ‘Mozart’, ‘Tears of Heaven’ and ‘Elizabeth’.   He’s also won awards for his stage acting.

Just a few days ago, Junsu received an award from the Seoul Foreign Correspondents Club to honor him for raising awareness about South Korea.  Its a special award won by those who raise the profile of the country overseas and is decided by vote.

Junsu has recently performed all over the world to promote his solo project Tarantallegra in which he’s wowed audiences everywhere from the United States to Germany.
