The Korean management company accused of unfair practices with regards to 3 members of the supergroup TVXQ  are trying to stop the sale of the trio’s first album.  SME (SM) reportedly filed an injunction with the court against the sale of JYJ’s new album “The Beginning”.

Some observers are openly speculating that the move is because it became clear the trio’s debut album will definitely be a huge success.  After all, why would anyone stop the sale of an album they thought was going to fail?

Since this news was first reported by a translated report from AKP, we’ll await further details from an alternate source.  However, this is sure to further sever any good will left lingering between any TVXQ fan and SM since some fans were cutting SM slack because the company did not seem to be actively working against the success of the trio.

JYJ just performed in front of some 10,000 fans in a highly anticipated showcase in Seoul, South Korea. This is their first showing in public for the Korean fans in about a year (maybe more so).

With SM actively trying to stop the sale of an album the trio obviously put a lot of work into, whatever could have been salvaged with the strained relationship between itself and the trio seems to be gone.

We’lll keep you posted
