“I dream of installing an extremely big electronic display in Namsan Tower (T/N: An iconic Korean landmark) and performing. The artists perform underneath the Namnsan Tower and the people of Seoul, whoever he is, from anywhere, can see the stage. I become happy just imagining it.”

The reporter just let out one question of whether “directing performances is fun,” but group JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong let his ideas forth one after the other.

Kim Jaejoong, whom this reporter met recently in a café in Shinsadong, was immersed in the fun of directing performances.

“I want to try doing a performance in which the stage and the set are made of LED and lights. I also want to do a performance in which the artist walks on the ceiling of the concert hall. I do get stressed, but there are just too many ideas that I have to pour onto the stage.”

Jaejoong’s skills at directing shows where he showcases his meticulous, creative nature has caused him to land a new gig!  These skills became known because of his surprisingly adept nature at directing JYJ’s recent massively successful concert shows in Thailand, Taiwan, and Beijing China. 

To further hone his skills, Jaejoong is participating in the directing part of the first ever gala show for Rhythmic Gymnastics All Stars 2011 scheduled to be held June 11 and 12 at Hwajung Gymnasium at Koryo University.  Fans concerned about Jaejoong’s participation in the gala and his own duties to JYJ’s live shows in June need not worry.  He’ll be involved in the gala, but he’s not the Executive Director.  So he won’t be taking on the responsibilities of directing the entire show.

This really isn’t a full blog post. I just wanted to post about what happened yesterday.  I got up and I usually close my laptop.  But this time I just got up and left it open on the couch.  My sister, who was sitting next to me, said “Ooh! Who’s that? ”  I came back in the room and said, “That’s Mr. Kim Jaejoong.”  And she said, “He’s cute!” I said, “I know!” LOL.

Many are voicing the opinion that JYJ’s Park Yoochun is suffering damages due to the nation’s variety programs.

It was found out on the3rd that Park Yoochun was told his appearance on KBS 2TV’s ‘Kim Seung Woo’s OnA Roll’ was cancelled the day before filming was to occur. Park Yoochun was chosen to appear in the ‘Secretly Visiting Guest’ corner of the show when Kim Kap Soo was invited to appear as a guest star.

But it has been found that KBS notified Park Yoochun that he could not appear on the program the day before filming was to occur. The MC, including KimSeung Woo, who is currently filming the same as Park Yoochun, as well as the guest stars such as Kim Kap Soo became aware of this fact in the morning of the scheduled filming day. A representative of KBS did not say much on the matter as he said, “We were all surprised because this wasn’t a decision made by the staff of ‘On A Roll’,” and “We don’t know the reason behind the cancellation of his appearance.”

Looks like the Japanese company avex needs to be taught a lesson before the conclusion of JYJ’s case in Korea against SM.  According to recent reports, JYJ has filed “two cases of provisional disposition in Tokyo Regional Court” against avex for their hateful interference at keeping the trio from performing a charity concert to benefit victims of the Japanese earthquake/tsunami.  The company who organized the charity event, ZAK Corporation, also filed a provisional disposition against avex.

Translated reports quote JYJ’s side as stating: “Avex has engaged in an unjust act in interfering with the concert to aid Japan’s damages from the earthquakes that was to be held on April 5.”
