junsu003
This single includes songs from the cool R&B genre to songs which touched people’s hearts, reflecting the great and handsome charm of Xiah Junsu.
The singing becomes the soul in an album.
As a singer, Xiah Junsu has taken an important step from here.

Q: Xiah Junsu finally started as a solo artist. First of all, can you tell us how you’re feeling?
A: I feel very nervous and stressed out, but I’m also very happy. All in all, I’m having mixed feelings about it.

Q: Are you still feeling stressed?
A: Of course! Every time, I always think whether I’m capable of giving a good performance for everyone.

Q: So, what’s the theme of this solo project?
A: This single is entitled “XIAH,” the name which I use in Korea. As a singer, I hope that my music can reflect more of myself. I think “XIAH” can describe the theme for this solo.

Q: “XIAH” also shows a strong demonstration of Junsu’s personality. It’s a really good song.
A: What do you mean?
Q: (laughs) I think all the songs are nice.
A: Ah, that’s great! The CD is already on sale. Have you heard the songs yet?

Q: I heard the songs already so I’m recommending it to people around me.
A: You have to!

SM Efforts to Control the name “DBSK” Gets Shot Down, Trademark App Denied

Another blow for SM Entertainment (SM), the Korean management company, some critics say, that thinks its okay to sign kids to 13 year contracts and treat them like slavesX indentured servants.

Months ago, and after the three members took their case against SM to court, the management company tried to trademark the rights to the name “DBSK”.

SM claims they “withdrew” the application to trademark the names. Fans, however, say they have found information to the contrary. According to translated reports, SM’s application to trademark that name was previously rejected.

That means SM does not own the name “DBSK” and may also mean they can’t prevent the guys from using it.

Yoochun drama SungKyunKwan Scandal already drawing big bucks in Japan even before airing in Korea

The new drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ which will be released during the second half of the year has already been sold to Japan for USD$4.83 million even before its airing in Korea.

The producer of ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ stated that, “On 18th May, Avex Japan has decided to buy each episode at an estimated USD$120 thousand, which totals up to USD$4.83 million”.

An unscreened drama, which has attracted a lot of attention from the overseas market, is very rare; therefore both popularity of Micky YooChun in Asia and the perfectly planned ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ has once again been proven in Japan. Once the news of Micky YooChun starring in ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ as the main lead was released, it was then reported in all of the major media stream in Japan, which had become the focus.

Junsu’s Dad, Jaejoong’s Sister and Yoochun’s Mom speak to the heads of TVXQ Fanclubs

Junsu’s father, Jaejoong’s sister and Yoochun’s mom reportedly met with the heads of TVXQ fanclubs to speak to certain rumors floating around about the three members. If you’ve been keeping up with the latest news, you’ll know that Yunho’s father ALLEGEDLY made what I personally thought were highly irresponsible statements to someone who then relayed his message via the internet.

Possibly as a result of such words and other innuendo by SM, the three members have been dealing with a certain amount of criticism for speaking out for their rights.

To that end, the father of Junsu, sister of Jaejoong and mother of Yoochun held a meeting to address the situation in a broad way, and to relay the wishes of the three members.

Below is the rough translation of what they reportedly said at the meeting (in image form read on…):

Kitagawa Eriko Sees a Bright Future for Jaejoong

jaejoong sunao ni narenakute
With Jaejoong currently co-starring in his first Japanese drama, many people have their eyes on the hot ta def 24 year old singer/songwriter/actor.  The writer of his current drama is one of them.

In recent translated reports, Kitagawa is quoted as saying that she believes Jaejoong (often written as Jejung in Japan) will gain more popularity in Japan through the drama.

Kitagawa is a screenwriter who is very popular in Japan. She actually wrote the first movie that Jaejoong debuted in called “Heaven’s Postman”. When Jaejoong was offered a role in the current Kitagawa drama “Sunao ni Narenakute”, he had no idea she had written it.

The paths of these two have crossed twice already. LOL!
