After massive interest in Asia, and without the backing of a huge conglomerate music label, Xia Junsu’s new album “Tarantallegra” has hit the Billboard World Chart at #10 its first week.
I don’t know who decides to submit albums to which category, but I can tell you how awesome it is to see the amount of success this new release is having despite being unfairly, if only temporarily, blackballed by the Korean entertainment media.
WIthin days of cJes releasing the video for the title track, Tarantallegra, it received 2.5 million hits at youtube, and the first two concerts in South Korea to promote the album were sold out within minutes.
