Director Jaejoong to take the reigns for JYJ concerts

Damn it, I have to blog about these guys more often!  One of the things I wanted to see regarding the future of DBSK members is for Jaejoong to direct.

I thought to myself that I really want Jaejoong, with his meticulous mind, to become a director and to possibly write and direct dramas/film.  I want Yoochun to score (write music for) dramas and film.  Jaejoong seems like he’s great at taking basic concepts and creating outstanding beauty from them, while Yoochun appears great at taking amorphous concepts and bringing them down to a simplistic emotional truth.

I even fantasized about Jaejoong and Yoochun opening their own production company sometime in the future where they focus not just on their own projects, but that they make a huge step forward into both writing and directing dramas, and writing movie scores for other celebrities.

I guess in my imagination, Jaejoong is earth and Yoochun is sky? Kekeke.

As for Su, I don’t think Junsu can be quiet long enough to direct. I’m kidding! Haha! Don’t get me wrong, but Junsu seems to love to sing… everywhere… anytime… constantly.  I guess I could see him involved in the production of musical theatre or musical films. He’d just be singing all the songs and intimidating the other actors without meaning to. LOL!

But I don’t think I’ve blogged about any of this yet!!  Low and behold, comes news that Jaejoong will be the lead director of JYJ’s upcoming string of Asian concerts. What?!

Whether they’ll allow him to fully take the reigns or if it’ll be one where he gives a fair amount of input to the person(s) in charge doesn’t matter.  They all learned a lot from their previous experiences in dealing with people, putting together performances, choreography, music, and possibly even film related aspects like cinematography, etc. Any input Jaejoong can provide will be invaluable, I’m sure.

Anyway, here’s the article:

Group JYJ’s “JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011? for their worldwide album “The Beginning” will be held in 5 Asian and North American cities.

Baek ChangJu, the president of CJES entertainment, the management company of JYJ, revealed “we will begin JYJ’s world tour concert in April at Thailand and the album promotion will continue on for two months, ending with a final concert in Korea.”

The grand start of “JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011” will be on April 2nd and 3rd at Bangkok, Thailand.

Furthermore, the concert is scheduled to also be held in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia, further continuing JYJ’s meetings with their fans throughout Asia which occurred last year through their “JYJ Worldwide Showcase.”

JYJ also plans conduct an extensive world wide promotion, traveling across North America and holding their concert in New York, LA, Washington DC, San Francisco, and Canada.

The concert will be especially meaningful because JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong plans be the lead director of the concerts held in Asia.

Kim Jaejoong has already participated working on the stage and video effects with American and Japanese staff during the last year’s Korean concert. This time, Kim will serve as the lead director for the concerts that will be held in the five Asian cities, spearheading the entire concert and personally planning and producing all performances.

CJES President Baek Chang Ju stated, “Kim Jaejoong has always had a great interest in producing concerts. Judging from the faith shown by the foreign staff toward Kim Jaejoong’s competence during JYJ’s concert last year, we have decided to have Jaejoong be the director for this world tour. Through the various experiences he will obtain through this tour, we look forward to Jaejoong showing his abilities as a professional concert director.”
