The new musical show starring Junsu called Tears of Heaven had advanced ticket sales Dec 16 (Seoul time) today and all the tickets were sold out in about 5 minutes.
According to the translated reports, Tears of Heaven is a global project which includes the participation of Broadway producer Frank Wildhorn. In addition to the mixed background of the cast, the production is aiming for a global worldwide market.
Junsu is currently set to star in 6 of the 18 shows with other performances being led by different actor(s).
So many people were trying to get tickets to the show that the site’s server crashed. Of course this is to be expected. The same thing happened as tickets went on sale when Junsu was set to star in the successful musical “Mozart”.
