According to reports, TVXQ (DBSK / Tohoshinki) just won an award at the 2009 Channel V Thailand Music Video award for Most Popular Asian Artist.
TVXQ could not attend the ceremony but a representative spoke on their behalf saying:
“This is the 2nd time TVXQ’s been given this award. Thank you for all the votes and all the supports for TVXQ. This accolade will be delivered up to them definitely, for showing the power of Thai Cassiopeias.Thanks again for Channel [V] Thailand, who always support the Asian Artists. Thank you.”
Of course this is just further proof of the magnitude of Dong Bang Shin Ki’s importance in Asia.
Its another reason why SM Entertainment should have changed the ridiculous terms of their contract when they asked in private. No one would have known anything, the guys would have been happy, and there wouldn’t be this public dispute right now.
