Members of the iconic Japanese group SMAP had nothing but high praise for Tohoshinki (TVXQ / DBSK) during their recent appearance at FNS festival.
Takuya Kimura (37) is quoted as saying “They are wonderful even from the eyes of a man.”
Other quotes attributed to Kimura include the following: “Both the songs and the dances are great and not only that, I also love their character as well.”
Fellow member Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (35) said he and Jaejoong began being friends after TVXQ appeared on one of SMAP’s shows, and joked about them exchanging numbers.
In response, Jaejoong praised SMAP’s abilities and called all of them cool: “Both SMAP’s songs and the performances are wonderful and every member is actively working in singing, acting, etc., and all of them are so cool.”
SMAP debuted in 1991 and have been going strong ever since by being involved in tv variety shows, dramas, movies, music, the creation of movies.
Members include Masahiro Nakai, Takuya Kimura, Goro Inagaki, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, and Shingo Katori.
On a sidenote, Kusanagi is fluent in Korean, spent a lot of time in Korea, and even released a Korean language CD in both Korea and Japan.
