Interview With JYJ on Their Donation to Japan

jyj041
Q: Your feelings upon first learning of the news of the earthquakes of the 11th?

Junsu: I felt that something quite serious must have happened because during filming in Tokyo the lights and the windows severely shook.

Yoochun: Because it was the day that Junsu was to come back from Tokyo, above all things we confirmed Junsu’s safety first, and also contacted our friends in Japan.

Q: Reason for deciding to donate?

Jaejoong: Japan is a place with people who have supported us for a long time. The desire to give help to a place that is suffering from such a horrible disaster is (I believe) not just ours but the common belief of all people.

Q1: Three important things in interpersonal relationships:

Networking is really important. My friends disappeared a lot (meaning recently I’ve lost a lot of friends). So I spend more time at home these days. So I’m thinking about meeting new people. This is a really good question for this time [in my life]. Networking. It’s important.

It’s not like you can make new friends that easily just because I try to meet more people. Recently I’ve met a lot of friends with same interests or friends in the same field. When you meet someone, if you’re a good listener and understand that person well, and that person is looking for a friend who trusts him and listens to him well… That’s why people look for me. It sounded like I was bragging.

I think that’s the best method. If you really pay attention and listen to what they say and answer/talk with them with sincerity, then it’ll work.
You’ll be able to become a friend that [people/your friends] will feel truly happy to spend time with.

Ah~ it’s not much fun when I MC alone like this, right? Hehe
Please hold on a second, I have to pick the [next] question.
Oh, this seems like a good question.

Translation: excerpt from JJB, JaeJung’s Birthday Book

Q; There was a long vacation after the concert, did you all get together and spend time together?

Jeje’s father: Yes, we were all together.

Q : Jaejung travels overseas often, this must be the first time to meet with his family after the concert. What was it like to see him in such a long time?

Fater: After they left [SME] and did a concert, it looked like they were laid the foundation to a certain degree. My family and I were all happy. And then he came to visit us and spent time with his sisters, so it looked like he was leading a very comfortable and stable life.

Q : Oh, so more stable than before~ I’m sure it looked like he was more comfortable because he has more free time now.

Father: He could come home and rest comfortbly with his sisters, and there was much less pressure (means less uncomfortable) in terms of family atmostphere now, and he’s not as busy as before, so he had a good rest.

-JYJ “What should we do?” .. in the midst of thinking of advancing into Japan next year.

-Junsu’s new year greeting: “I shall think of the year of the rabbit as my year.”

“Thinking that only good things will happen right? This kind of conclusion has not been reached. Because we are prepared and settled even in the worst situations, we don’t feel depressed daily due to the uncertain circumstances surrounding us.”

Before we knew it, 3 months has passed since JYJ came out from DBSK and formed their trio. And this is the statement that JaeJoong, YooChun and Junsu delivered.
Even while complications arise with their previous management and previous contract, JYJ released their latest album “The Beginning” and are looking forward to new stage activities. Early next month, they plan to release their “Music Essay”.

101220 [Star OX] JYJ, “TVXQ, A Reunion Is Possible”

Due to their legal dispute with their former agency SM Entertainment, Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun are currently active as JYJ, not TVXQ. Each are trying new things such as dramas and musicals and showing off their hidden potentials, but recommenced activities as singers when they released their album ‘The Beginning’ on October 14th. The album has been successful with pre-orders for ‘The Beginning’ hitting over 520,000 copies and ranking 5th on the This Year’s Songs chart chosen by US Billboard readers.

Though they’ve been going non-stop, they are now stuck in a situation where the members of TVXQ are being pitted against each other with U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin announcing their comeback as a two-member TVXQ in January of 2011. Though it is a sensitive topic, we could not help but ask about TVXQ. Though the three people expressed their unwillingness as they said, “Though it isn’t something we can’t talk about…” they answered our OX questions in a candid manner.
