I don't feel pity for anything or anybody that tries to obstruct these 5 young men being together.  A million things had to go right for them to initially find each other; to take each others' hand and walk forward together.

They may be cutting different paths from one goal to the next, but this, too, may be for a reason.  While missing pieces of themselves, they can still love.  They can love each other no matter where in the world they exist. And because of this, all of the independent situations which had to occur for them to exist as TVXQ seem all the more remarkable.

"Ayyy Girl" now has a VIDEO! The Kanye West laced song by JYJ from their "The Beginning" album is certainly growing on me.  The video hit like a bolt of lightning (pun intended) online and my twitter lit up with people posting links to it. I give it a look, and as soon as I got over how sexy "little SuSu" (Junsu) is in the video, I began to see something deeper.

However, it has come to my attention that certain people, including fans, are criticizing the video either because they don't like it or because they don't understand what seems perfectly obvious to me.  The video is full of metaphor and messages.

When an artist changes from being heavily managed to being able to express their own creative freedom, you have to think more than a couple of seconds about what they're trying to convey.

Avex, Avex, Avex. Haven't they learned anything from the fight between JJY (Junsu, Jejung and Yuchun) and their Korean agency SM Entertainment?  According to translated reports, the answer is no. (And my commentary below will be based on the translated reports. If something changes, I'll let ya know.)

The news flying all over the internet is that AVEX -- the agency many fans including myself thought they could trust to at least give the three members a fair shake -- apparently wanted more than the trio could give when they sought to change the terms of their contract with the three members.

Junsu, Jejung and Yuchun are (were?) riding a massive wave of success in the Japanese market with their latest mini-album titled "The..." debuting at #1 on the Oricon WEEKLY charts and moving almost 140,000 copies in the midst of slump in the Japanese market.  Jejung was chosen as the costar in a high profile video for one of the most popular and well known Japanese artists in Japan, Ayumi.  And their LIVE DVD from their 'Thanksgiving' concerts in DOME also shot to #1 on the DVD sales chart in Japan.

Through all of this, they never publicly complained about anything. But in actuality, the trio apparently were going through a rough time with AVEX in Japan comparable to the terrible time they are having with SM in Korea.

Yunho is outstanding.  Yes, I said it.  I get an incredible gut feeling about him. I don’t know when I started to feel such thoughts about that particular young man.  He is a hard-working, loyal, natural-born leader who doesn’t shy away from responsibility.

Months ago I came to this conclusion about Yunho even though I have never had a “bias” towards him.

By his own admission, TVXQ’s designated leader has had a highly difficult life.  He’s had to deal with various challenges and tough situations which have made him accustomed to hard work.  I bet Yunho can be thrown into almost any situation and he would be immediately able to handle himself well.

I think at some point in his life he will positively affect the lives of thousands (possibly millions) of people in a way which may or may not have anything to do with music.  When I say he’s destined for big things, I mean HUGE things as long as he keeps his head clear and refuses to bow to guilt-trips from those who claim to have his best interest in mind.

According to translated reports, TVXQ's Yoochun will star as the grandson of a powerful noble family during Korea's Joseon (Choseon) era. The drama, tentatively titled "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" will involve Lee Son Jun (Yoochun's character) being troubled by his growing love for who he thinks is another guy.

The twist is that the "guy" is really a women who has dressed herself as a man to replace her sickly brother at the Sungkyunkwan Confucian Institute.  Ya!

While the vast majority of TVXQ (Tohoshinki / DBSK) fans are greatly concerned about the group's current situation, there are a few who have taken it upon themselves to spazz in an unwarranted way. Some have even threatened to delete their TVXQ-related youtube accounts or stop using the phrase 'Always Keep the Faith'.

Don't let this post fool you into thinking that there is a fan problem. There's no problem with fan support, as far as what I've seen. But there are things I have to say about that type fair-weather attitude in general.

The phrase 'fair-weather fans' have plagued individual artists and groups since the first boyband in history was ensnared in a situation beyond its control. The first time a crisis happens is not the time to give up on the very people you claimed to have admired for so long.

The problem with such overly dramatic actions is that they change absolutely nothing. What's worse is that it shows just how fickle and shallow an incredibly tiny percentage of certain fan support may be.
