Despite continuing to set records in Japan, TVXQ’s Japanese management company AVEX announced that there will be an indefinite hold on activities for the 5 members in Japan.
Solo projects will still go forward but the halt to activities was decided after “the 5 members…repetitive discussions with officials from both Japan and Korea” according to translated reports.
TVXQ’s Japanese fanclub’s website was flooded with more than 1500 emails in the couple of hours after the announcement.
These are the times in which the connection and love for each other will be tested. They love each other too much and they will find their way back to each other as soon as external interference from SM is removed (either consensually or forcibly). The red string of destiny ties these guys together in a way I have not seen before.
The fans will continue to support the group no matter what form they take. And this situation will require fans to mature as well.
In my opinion, the root of this problem is the way SM has mishandled this entire situation. It seems as if the only way this issue will get resolved is if certain people are removed from their seat of power at SM. If not, SM may have to fall in order for its full roster of captives artists to grow.
Tohoshinki, as they’re known in Japan, is just as precious to the Japanese public as ‘Dong Bang Shin Ki’ is to the Korean public.
Today was an e.x.h.a.u.s.t.i.n.g day. Please let me sleep. See you tomorrow!!
Since Lee SooMan is a great creator, someday, certainly…
Things that would be good if you know, and things that won’t hurt you if you don’t know, someday I want to tell you all…
No matter if it’s their solo or unit activities, avex definitely wants to be their management in Japan. I wonder if the Korean side allows us to……
Definitely, someday… I want to scream out my feelings too… For now, in order to forget everything and stay silent, I might go fishing. Please pardon me. But how big is avex’s damage… [you can say that] if I don’t do my best I might not be able to keep my president position.
Well then, starting from tomorrow, I’ll try to overcome these feelings and show you a positive twitter like usual. Please forgive me if I said something offended to you.
The things that I can’t tell you right now, I will reveal them to you someday before I die.
I am extremely grateful to the staffs, the people who are related, and of course to the fans who have done their best for the smiles of Tohoshinki. For the past few months, I’ve been feeling very anxious for not being able to say what I want to say, and for making everyone feel worried and insecure. I think a message from them will be coming out soon.
