According to translated reports out of Seoul regarding the Court’s partial decision against SM Entertainment (SM), SM hasn’t paid Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVXQ / Tohoshinki) since February 2009. WTF?!
Translated quote from they attorney hired by Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong: “The three members of TVXQ will do their best to be able to act and perform just like before, and we will make our best effort to work on the remaining issues. Such issues like the time when SM stopped paying the members earnings from their activities from February 2009. Also the issues which should be solved are, for the previous unpaid earnings adjustments and other unjustified issues etc. We will try out best to solve these issues harmoniously with the SM side.”
So essentially these guys have been working without adequate compensation for SM for over half a year now. That’s terrible and unacceptable.
It means that months has already gone by before TVXQ decided to take this issue to Seoul District Court. It also shows the high level of professionalism of the members because nobody in the public knew they were going through such difficult times.
SM should be ashamed and should be held legally responsible for such actions.
