Tohoshinki Best Selection album is #1 on the Global United World Charts

Tohoshinki’s Best Selection 2010 album has hit the #1 spot on the Global United Charts! The 413,000 album sales from Tohoshinki (DBSK / TVXQ) beat out other artists like Sade, Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas this week.

They broke a 14 year record by becoming the first non-Japanese artists to sell 413,000 albums in one week on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart. With this accomplishment, they have shot past the Backstreet Boys and Bon Jovi who used to how the #1 and #2 spots before ‘Best Selection’ was released.

The five pretty korean boys from Dong Bang Shin Ki, also known as TVXQ (Tong Vfang Xien Qi) and Tohoshinki, having enough power to displace all competitors on this week’s hitlist with their topical Japan-compilation ‘Best Selection 2010′. The set moved 413.000 units in its first week at retail, according to Oricon. It replaced Sade’s ‘Soldier Of Love’, which stranded at no.2 after a 55% sales decrease to 289.000 copies, a total of 932.000 in two weeks.
