News is circulating online that TVXQ's Yunho will take part in the posthumous concert tribute to the late singer Michael Jackson.
According to the translate reports, Yunho (Yoonho) is among the list of artists from around the world who will learn the songs and dances for performances of the show in various countries. Yunho is said to be participating in the one scheduled for Yongsan War Memorial Peace Plaza in Seoul, South Korea.
As part of his training, Yunho is said to be traveling to the United States, the report says.
Although this quote doesn't name a specific source, "a staff" member supposedly stated the Yunho was supposed to perform in front of audiences as part of the singer's tour if he had lived.
Tohoshinki's (DBSK / TVXQ) new greatest hits album, Best Selection 2010, has rocketed to the #1 spot on the Oricon DAILY Album chart in Japan.
The first day sales were astonishing with over 228,000 albums sold. WIth these figures, Tohoshinki becomes the first non-Japanese artist to enter the Top 10 list of highest selling first day album sales in Japan. At #6, this puts them in the company of established Japanese artists like Exile and Mr. Children.
There were also reports of very long lines in various retail stores around Japan full of fans waiting to get their hands on the album.
Max Matsuura, the president of AVEX (Japan), writes in his blog today, "Moreover, one thing that really caught my attention is that a lot of female fans were lining up in front of CD shops at noon, but it changed drastically at night, as a lot of male customers were having trial listening of Tohoshinki's best album."

Tohoshinki (Dong Bang Shin Ki) is again proving that their music is not only massively popular, but also can get fans off the internet and into retail stores to buy merchandise. Check out this report:
On the 16th, the first best album of Korean popular dance group Tohoshinki, "BEST SELECTION 2010", arrived at the stores of HMV Japan; and in front of HMV leading store in Shibuya, there was a long line of approximately 100 fans who were waiting for the album to be on sale.
According to the store, the majority of the queue was female with a wide range from students to housewives. The success of Shibuya store is said to be because it is the only store in the HMV chain that holds an exhibition of the members' costumes.
