TVXQ Wins Musical Excellence Awards at Japan Record Awards

dongbanger Musical Excellence Awards
That's right. Tohoshinki (TVXQ / DBSK) won the Musical Excellence Award at the 51st annual Japan Record Awards the other night.

The guys performed their hit song Stand By You. If you've been paying attention, you noticed that they guys seem to be performing that song a lot in some very high profile shows and appearances.

The symbolism, whether accidental or on purpose, can be found in the way the lyrics for the song are interpreted in light of their current dispute with the, in my opinion, incredibly stubborn executives at SM Entertainment (SM).

Lyrics like "I wonder where you are, who you're with", "Even now I am right here and I still believe that we will see each other again", and "No matter how hard I try, I end up crying and my tears just won't stop" seem to have a much deeper meaning now.
